Abstract
Total anomalous pulmonary vein drainage is a rather rare congenital heart defect. The generally accepted classification divides this pathology into 4 forms: supracardiac, cardiac, infracardiac and mixed. However, more complex surgical forms of this malformation have been reported in the literature. We present a clinical case of obstructive total anomalous pulmonary vein drainage of the infracardiac type with two separate pulmonary vein manifolds, in which two separate manifolds formed from the veins of the right and left lung go into the abdominal cavity, where they merge into a single manifold and flow into the portal vein of the liver.
