Abstract
Synthetic prostheses are widely used in contemporary cardiosurgery for neonates and infants of the first year of life.
The most actual therefore becomes investigation of coagulating blood system in infants with blue congenital heart
defects. The paper spotlights hemostatic peculiarities in infants with cyanotic congenital heart defects, presents the
reasons of thrombosis of systemic pulmonary anastomoses in this category of patients and antithrombotic
approach.
