Abstract
A matter of surgical approach for aortic coarctation is well explored. Surgical management of patients with aortic coarctation combined with various forms of left heart obstruction, especially with left ventricle hypoplasia is brought to the fore in contemporary cardiac surgery. The paper presents close and late surgical results of this cohort of patients, who underwent aortic coarctation resection at A.N. Bakulev SCCVS during the period between January 2005 and April 2009.
