Abstract
A combination of surgical correction with intracoronary injection of autologous cells - CD 133+-cell precursors
was used during the treatment of three critically ill infants with anomalous origin of left coronary artery. If
direct revascularization of the left coronary artery pool was impossible this approach made it possible to stabilize
the state of patients due to myocardial function restriction, collateral blood stream development, which
hereafter facilitated successful performance of radical correction of the defect.
