Abstract
The article is dedicated to detailed study of contemporary abilities and limitations of target Doppler echo-CG
for diagnostics of aortic coarctation in prenatal period. Range of the most significant diagnostic criteria of this
CHD was identified. Aspects of fetal defect evolution were considered, algorithm of its dynamic control during
pregnancy was developed. Prenatal diagnostics of defect demonstrated to positively influence the results of its
surgical treatment. Retrospective analysis of pregnancy outcomes showed the causes of diagnostic errors and
precise recommendations were represented according to the terms and volume of postnatal control of infants
with prenatally suspected aortic coarctation.
