Abstract
«Hybrid» approach in treatment of the left heart hypoplasia syndrome has been created as an alternative to traditional surgical approach
with the purpose of decreasing of invasive interventions in the neonatal period. The review has reported the historical aspects of the appearance
and development of the «hybrid» strategy in surgical treatment of patients with theleft heart hypoplasia syndrome. Analysis and comparison
of the recent results of the «hybrid» method has not revealed its preponderance over traditional surgical approach.
