Abstract
The rare case of surgical correction of a congenital stenosis of a coronary sinus at the child of 4 years and 8 months is resulted. Clinical
displays of defect were heart failure in a combination with lowered contractility of the myocardium left ventricle. The diagnosis is
established by means of an echocardiography, a computer tomography, radioisotope scintigraphy of the myocardium, heart
catheterization and angiocardiography. The repair of the coronary sinus stenosis with cardiopulmonary bypass has allowed to eliminate defect and to achieve essential increase contractility of the myocardium already in the early postoperative period.
