Abstract
In article the exceptional case of endovascular correction – a balloon dilatation stenosis of a collector of pulmonary veins and an
embolization of collateral arteries is described at a scimitar syndrome at the child of 2.5 months. Manifestations of heart failure against
high pulmonary hypertensia were clinically noted. The diagnosis is established by means of an echocardiography and confirmed with
a computer tomography, a catheterization of heart and an angiography. The balloon dilatation of a stenosis of pulmonary veins in
combination with an occlusion of a large aberrant artery allowed to achieve improvement of a clinical condition of the patient and significant
pressure decrease in a pulmonary artery (the right ventricle).
