Abstract
The article presents the results and description of 12 cases of surgical correction of the double aortic arch (DAA). In 5 (41.6%) cases,
the DAA combined with other congenital heart defects. The surgical correction was performed in all patients. 11 (91.7%) patients
with surgery performed thoracotomy access from the side, and only 1 (8.3%) in the case of cardiopulmonary bypass through a median
sternotomy access. Hospital mortality rate was – 8.3%.
