Abstract
Transposition of the great arteries is a complex congenital heart anomaly, both for cardiologists and pediatric cardiosurgeons, in
which, on the one hand, there is a high risk of death, and on the one hand, the ability to restore the normal anatomy of the heart and
blood vessels with single operation - arterial switching. After a radical anatomical correction of the transposition of the great arteries,
the patient may develop various complications at various times, related both to the features of the operation and the anatomical variants
of the development of the defect. All patients who undergo the arterial switching operation require a dynamic observation
throughout their lives and, if necessary, treatment. The most common complications in the long-term period are pulmonary artery
stenosis at various levels. The article presents a case of successful elimination of obstruction of pulmonary blood flow after an arterial
switching operation.
