Abstract
Congenital fibro-muscular dysplasia with damage to the abdominal aorta and renal arteries is one of the main causes of the development of severe forms of symptomatic (vasorenal) hypertension in pediatric patients. Renal artery angioplasty, as a leading treatment for renal artery stenosis, currently has less successful results. Due to the active introduction into everyday clinical practice and the increase in the number of endovascular interventions in the renal arteries, the number of angioplasties in children is also increasing. In this article, we present a clinical case of successful stage surgical treatment of vasorenal hypertension in a 9-year-old boy with fibro-muscular dysplasia, with restenosis of both renal arteries after previously performed angioplasty.
