Abstract
Accurate diagnosis represents the most important part of preoperative treatment of patients with congenital heart defects especially with complex cyanotic lesions. Double-outlet right ventricle is characterized by complex anatomy own to wide range of defects united be the term. Standard diagnostic tools such as echocardiography and angiocardiography are based on two-dimensional planes which don’t allow to access interrelationship of intracardiac structures. A computed 3D reconstruction method is a relatively new and perspective diagnostic tool allowing real-time assessment of intracardiac anatomy at any projections. In the article the new method and its algorithm in patients with double-outlet right ventricle are described.
