Abstract
Isolated unilateral pulmonary artery agenesis is a rare congenital pathology. It is often diagnosed occasionally. The combination of common arterial trunk and unilateral pulmonary artery agenesis is a very rare congenital heart defect. The restoration of antegrade blood flow to the lung in patient with agenesis of the main branch pulmonary artery is an important component of the surgical treatment. The article describes the case of a successful one-stage anatomical correction of the common arterial trunk in combination with the left pulmonary artery agenesia in infant. Up to date, there are no guidelines for the medical management patients with the main branch of the pulmonary artery agenesia. Description of our case is adding the information in treatment this rarely congenital heart defect.
