Abstract
The vascular ring (true or false) can be associated with various congenital disease. This article describes a clinical case of successful correction of the vascular ring in combination with tetralogy of Fallot. However the combination of a vascular ring with tetralogy of Fallot is an extremely rare case. Also a child with this developmental anomaly has a Di George syndrome. Surgical treatment was carried out in two steps: elimination of the vascular ring, then radical correction of tetralogy of Fallot, with a good hemodynamic effect.
