Abstract
Congenital heart tumors are rare. According to various authors, the frequency of occurrence in children is from 0.02 to 0.49%. The basic facts about the tumors in children and strategy of the therapy are based on the described cases and experience of single clinics. We present a description of conservative strategy and surgical treatment of 2 infants with giant neoplasms of the right ventricular. In both cases, tumors were detected prenatally. The clinical stabilization of newborns with right ventricular giant fibroma allowed us to decide on the postponement of surgical intervention in a later period, when clinical signs will manifest. Patients underwent subtotal resection of the neoplasm. Follow-up observation of patients was 4 years.
