Abstract
Ductus arteriosus aneurysm is a rare disease that is most common in early infancy, while its prerequisite, the open ductus arteriosus, is one of the most common congenital heart defects. Most aneurysms are asymptomatic and resolve physiologically soon after birth, but they can also lead to severe complications. The purpose of our report is to present a successful case of treatment of ductus arteriosus aneurysm in a newborn child with a detailed description of the surgical stage. This disease is rare, and we have not found a single mention of this problem in newborns in the Russian literature. In foreign sources, there are isolated reports, but without a detailed description of surgical treatment.
