Аннотация
В статье впервые в отечественной литературе изложена научная биография английского анатома
и хирурга J. Wilson (1765-1821), приведено его оригинальное описание общего артериального ствола,
сделанное в 1798 г. при участии его учителя, крупного английского врача и патолога M. Baillie
(1761-1823). Представлен современный перевод описания анатомии, а также кратко обсуждена
дальнейшая история изучения этого врожденного порока сердца.
