Abstract
The history of surgical treatment of partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage is more than 70 years old. During this impressive period, many different options for radical surgical correction of the defect have been proposed. However, despite the accumulated experience and variety of surgical treatment methods, the number of complications after the intervention remains at a high level, and therefore the search for the «ideal» technique continues. This review presents the stages of development of surgical treatment of various forms of PAPVC, as well as the results of the main types of interventions.
