Abstract
Contemporary data about purulent- septic complications in postoperative period in children with congenital heart defects is presented. Local and international data on postoperative infection development rate are presented. Pathogenesis features in cardiosurgical patients are studied, risk factors are presented. The authors offered tried out methods of early diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infectious complications after heart surgery
