Abstract
The case has been reported regarding successful surgical treatment of a patient, a 10 months old female with anomalous origin of the left coronary
artery from the pulmonary trunk in the presence of large ischemic lesion of the left ventricle and critically decreasing left ventricular contractility.
The choice of operative tactics has been analyzed as well as particulars of the postoperative management. The use of auxiliary techniques
has been reasoned i. e. extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, delayed stitching of sternum in order to reduce operative risk and improve
early and long-term outcome.
