Abstract
The article discusses a case of a combination in a newborn child of Ebstein’s anomaly (EA) and pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular
septum (PAIVS), and the presence of patent foramen ovale (PFO) and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) with a fatal outcome.
Surgical treatment and cause of the death were analyzed. This case shows, that rare combination of EA and PAIVS has a severe clinical
course with severe arterial hypoxemia and cardiac insufficiency, and in conjunction with the literature data about the combination
of AE and PAIVS indicates a possible genetic link between these disoders.
