Abstract
Distinctive feature of this case report is the necessity of mitral valve replacement due to anterior leaflet cleft followed by annular dialation
in 9 years after complete repair of the transposition of great arteries.
In 7 years after surgery, mild prosthesis dysfunction had being evaluated, with no signs of pulmonary hypertension, mild peak and
median gradients. Also, we have not discovered signs of patient/prosthesis mismatch. Thus, it was decided to delay redo mitral
replacement for few more years.
