Abstract
The paper presents a clinical case of partial resection of right atrial tumor. The decision to perform surgery was made due to the presence
of the superior vena cava syndrome due to partial obstruction of the lumen of the inferior vena cava tumor. According to the
biopsy: fibrolipoma - primary tumor of the heart provided by adipose tissue cells. Despite the benign nature of the tumor, by virtue
of intramural growth in the wall of the right atrium, atrial septal and roof of the left atrium, complete resection was not possible without
damaging the coronary arteries and a large part of the atrial myocardium. The operation was conducted under the cardiopulmonary
bypass, hypothermia and cardioplegia. Access through the right atrium made the maximum possible resection of the tumor
excised places endothelialization synthetic PTFE patch. The postoperative period was uneventful with minimal inotropic support. On
the second day the patient is transferred to the profile hospital. In connection with the condition of stability of the patient was discharged
from hospital on the sixth postoperative day.
