Abstract
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (cTMA) is a rare form of congenital heart disease (CHD). At the heart of its anatomy is atrioventricular and ventricular-arterial discordance. Despite the abnormality of segmental structure of the heart physio-logical hemodynamics is retained. The most serious problems in patients with cTMA is cardiac arrhythmia and ventricular geometry change both because of the mismatch between their function and their physiological characteristics. Consequently, the principle of radical surgical correction of cTMA is the timely recovery of the segmental anatomy of the heart, in which the anatomical right ven-tricle provides blood flow in the pulmonary circulation and the anatomically left - at large. We brought our first experience of radical correction CTMA combination with the restoration of the segmental anatomy of the heart operations Mustard and Rastelli. Atrial switch was made with autopericardial patches treated glutaraldehyde solution. Prosthetics pulmonary artery valve is produced con-taining a synthetic prosthesis Hancock № 18.
