Abstract
Patients with pulmonary atresia, hypoplasia of the main branches and collateral pulmonary blood flow before radical intervention, often
require multi-stage surgical intervention with unifocalization of pulmonary blood flow with a complex reconstruction of the pulmonary arterial
bed. The present clinical case is devoted to the description of the case of successful multistage surgical correction of pulmonary atresia
with collateral pulmonary blood flow. Radical correction of the defect is performed by total prosthetics of the trunk and branches of pulmonary
arteries with combined use of pulmonary homograft for the reconstruction of the branches and the valve-containing xenograft of
contegra. As a result of the performed multistage correction, physiological hemodynamics was obtained with no gradients on the created
anastomoses. The accomplished relocation of the pulmonary arteries allowed to avoid their compression by an enlarged aorta. The results
of performed correction one year after the operation, confirmed the validity of the elective tactics of surgical treatment.
