Abstract
The isolated discharge of one of the branches of the aortic arch from patent ductus arteriosus – a rare defect of less than 0,5% of all congenital
malformations of the cardiovascular system. Literature data on this problem are very few and some variants of this anomaly can
have a single description. Discharge of an isolated right subclavian artery occurs only rarely, and this fact in combination with transposition
of great vessels (TGV) is extremely unusual. You should probably pay attention to a specific clinical picture. In this case, the right quadrant
change the colors on the corresponding half of the thorax of the child on the background of differential cyanosis. In the foreign literature
described 5 similar cases, however, each subclavian artery is moved away from the pulmonary artery, not from patent ductus arteriosus.
In Russian sources of information on this issue was not found. Discusses visualization techniques used to confirm the diagnosis, biological
basis and methods of surgical correction. I should say that on the basis of a sufficiently large experience with surgical correction of TGV
in Federal Center of Cardiovascular Surgery (Penza) from 180 patients with various forms of TGV we first came across anatomy of origin
of the isolated right subclavian artery from the ductus arteriosus.
