Abstract
X-ray examination is the method with which the examination of patients with congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension begins. Radiography and fluoroscopy allow visualization of indirect signs of changes in pulmonary blood flow and pressure. Detailed information on pulmonary hypertension can be obtained using computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The advent of X-ray computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in the arsenal of radiation diagnostics has created conditions for a detailed study of pulmonary hypertension. With a comprehensive analysis of the data of CT or MR studies, it is possible to highlight the features characteristic of pulmonary hypertension in one or another pathology of the cardiovascular system. Based on the literature and own data, an overview of X-ray methods and magnetic resonance imaging in the examination of patients with congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension is presented, the main features, promising methods of use are considered in detail, taking into account the goals of practical medicine.
