Abstract
Under the syndrome of heterotaxy, or situs ambiguous, an asymmetric arrangement of the organs of the chest and abdominal cavity is combined. The term “isomerism" refers to the symmetry of the development of organs and systems that are normal asymmetric. These syndromes are a combination of cardiac, vascular and visceral abnormalities. In isomerism, heart lesions include both structural disorders and cardiac conduction disorders. When studying cardiac arrhythmias associated with a particular type of isomerism, criteria such as the location of the sinus node, the morphology of the atrioventricular pathways, the type of rhythm disturbance, the age of the onset of arrhythmias are taken into account. Modern diagnostic methods make it possible to diagnose anomalies in the formation and location of the heart and internal organs already during fetal development, this allows us to determine the algorithm of patient management tactics from birth and conduct careful monitoring of the heart rhythm, in order to timely identify clinically significant arrhythmias. In this article we describe a clinical case of surgical treatment of congenital heart disease and rhythm disturbances in a patient with left isomerism.
